Sorbon Estates is delighted to have collaborated with The Theatre Shed on an inspiring project aimed at enhancing community well-being and accessibility. Supported by funding from the Shanly Foundation, Sorbon’s skilled team helped bring the Garden Shed Project’s vision to life, constructing a brand-new greenhouse for this inclusive allotment in Chesham.
The Garden Shed Project offers an accessible and welcoming outdoor space for locals to experience the benefits of being in nature and to develop horticultural skills in a supportive environment. By encouraging hands-on interaction with nature, the project promotes mental wellness, skill-building, and a deeper sense of community.
Sorbon’s team was thrilled to contribute to this initiative, ensuring that Theatre Shed members were actively involved in each step of the greenhouse build. From laying the foundation to putting in the final touches, our team enjoyed working side-by-side with project participants, sharing knowledge and fun moments along the way.
“We’re proud to have partnered with The Theatre Shed on such a meaningful project,” said Katherine Croom, Managing Director. “This greenhouse symbolises growth, inclusivity, and community spirit, values that we at Sorbon Estates hold close.”
This collaboration is a part of Sorbon Estates’ commitment to supporting projects that enrich our communities and promote sustainability. We look forward to seeing the Garden Shed Project continue to flourish and bring joy to Chesham residents.
