Mintie, the children's range by popular high street brand Mint Velvet, sell a range of clothing and accessories for girls aged three to twelve. Mintie was successfully launched online and in selected locations and the store in Marlow is its second standalone pop-up since inception. Liz Houghton OBE, Co-founder of Mint Velvet, said "As someone who lives locally, I know the Marlow demographic extremely well and we quite often use the store to test new ranges. So when this opportunity with Sorbon came up to test our Mintie concept in Marlow, we were delighted."

Since opening their doors in November 2017, tuition agency Bright Young Things have gone from strength to strength. Bright Young Things came out of the preeminent tutoring agency and are now opening supplementary tuition centres around the South of England. Phoebe Taylor, Centre Director, commented “Maidenhead is a thriving town and we believe the Maidenhead High Street is an excellent place for supplementary education in the area. With good access to parking and easy reach of other shops so parents can drop children off while lessons happen and go and do the weekly shop.”

Wanting to provide local residents with a taste of the continent, bakedd found its home at Chapel Wharf. After a successful career working for major retailers, Rose Foster has launched her first store in Marlow selling the Angel and Rocket brand. The brand, which is owned by her lifelong friend and colleague, Kate Bostock, provides a unique offering in stylish, versatile and fashionable childrenswear for boys and girls aged 0-10. Rose commented "Marlow is the perfect location to showcase our gorgeous clothing. We wanted to be in a successful market town where independents can thrive alongside high street names. We've launched as a pop-up in a prime High Street spot and hope this will be the first of many Angel and Rocket boutiques".

Early in March 2017 luxury clothing retailer Really Wild opened their first ever physical store. Situated on Marlow High Street, the company has enjoyed a successful first few months and has seen a growth in brand awareness. Continued growth and success meant that KDL Pizzas Limited, who own 11 Domino’s pizza franchises, had outgrown their office space in Sandhurst. With staff living in or near Binfield, Oakmede was the obvious choice to relocate the office side of the business, enabling the Sandhurst office to be used as a training room for employees. Juliet Liebenberg, Director, commented “En-route to our Sandhurst offices I frequently drove past Oakmede and knew that if a suitable suite became available it would be perfect for us. The changing recruitment environment and the business’ focus for the next 5 years meant that by centralising their service they could work more efficiently.
