Sorbon Estates have agreed 16,601 sq ft of new lettings across its portfolio of retail, office and leisure properties in the South East of England.
This includes 9,155 sq ft of new office lettings across three properties in White Waltham and Marlow. This includes:
- A five-year lease with geosciences technology business, Seequent, for 3,966 sq ft at Morris House, Marlow;
- A five-year lease with software business, MCS Global Limited, for 3,800 sq ft at Oakwood, Grove Park, White Waltham;
- A ten-year lease with Eight Wealth Management for 1,359 sq ft at 81 High St, Marlow.
Sorbon Estates has agreed a further 7,446 sq ft of lettings across its retail and leisure portfolio, including the latest restaurant to enhance the Chapel Arches regeneration area in Maidenhead. Belluno, a high-end Italian restaurant, has secured a ten-year lease for a 2,564 sq ft, joining national chain Coppa Club and local-business Bakedd in Chapel Arches restaurant offer.
Sportsbikeshop, the UK's fastest growing retailer of motorcycle clothing and accessories, has agreed a ten-year lease for Unit 1C, a 4,882 sq ft retail warehouse unit at Reading Link Retail Park. Following this letting, Reading Link Retail Park is now fully-let and income producing.
Ed Davidson, Leasing Manager at Sorbon Estates, said: "This raft of new lettings is a strong endorsement of the ongoing demand for well-located and well-managed commercial space, whether that is in the office, retail or leisure sector, and is a positive indicator for the year head. As vacancy rates in central London continue to diminish, and prices continue to rise, the South East represents an attractive opportunity for both businesses and residents that are looking for well-connected towns that offer good access to London and enjoyable local amenities, and we expect continued activity in key markets such as Maidenhead and Marlow in 2020."
