Lightning-fast broadband provider SWISH Fibre is opening on Marlow High Street, as part of its drive to supply a 900mbps service to the local area. Located next to Phase Eight, in the old Cath Kidston store, the new hub will allow residents to pop in and find out more, discuss options and register for the service. The hub will be opening as soon as COVID restrictions allow
Marlow can look forward to enjoying the fastest broadband network in the UK with immediate effect, as work has already started to implement the service. The alternative network provider is rolling out across a number of local towns including: Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield, Flackwell Heath, Wooburn Green, Bourne End and many more. Services for residents include parental controls, intelligent wi-fi that adjusts to your habits, threat protection keeping your home safe from hackers and cyberattacks, and smart controls to manage your wi-fi at your fingertips.
SWISH Fibre will not only benefit local residents but also businesses, with a range of packages and pricing starting at just £100 a month. SWISH offers asymmetric upload and download speeds, cloud-friendly services, including video calls ideal for home working, and static IP addresses for remote access. The network has a higher bandwidth with increased reliability and lower latency, enabling it to process high volumes of data much quicker than other services, making it ideal for the manufacturing, distribution, logistics and security industries.
Robert Martin, Leasing Manager at Sorbon Estates said, "SWISH Fibre's arrival on Marlow High Street is great news for the town and its residents. During such a turbulent time it is great that this service will allow people to stay connected to family members, friends and continue to work. The High Street hub will allow residents easy access to more information and the ability to discuss the services in person, once COVID rules allow. We're delighted to be bringing this positive new resource to the area."
