What you'll be doing
- Actively and professionally manage a diverse portfolio of commercial properties to meet / exceed budgeted rent, occupancy, and expenditure targets, ensuring compliance with relevant standards
- Work alongside our Managing Director on value add projects and manage the smaller projects to completion
- Drive value from lease renewals, regears and reviews
- Work in partnership with the maintenance team on tenant repairs, planned work to properties and dilapidations
- Effectively manage utilities and service charges for your portfolio
- With a good knowledge of lease terms you will ensure that tenant covenants are followed
- Develop good working relationships with tenants, local authorities and solicitors.
Skill and experience
- Excellent understanding and application of landlord and tenant legislation
- Proven experience within a commercial property management department
- Knowledge of property management accounting including statements of account, service charges and arrears recovery
- Ideally RICS qualified (not essential) with proven post qualification experience
- Forms professional and conducive relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Strong negotiator with client facing skills.
