The show home of Shanly Homes' boutique Marlow development, Windsor House, has been given a 'Really Wild' makeover having been inspired by the town's luxury ladies clothing brand and Sorbon Estates tenant, Really Wild Clothing, based at 105 High Street
Windsor House comprises 11 one and two-bedroom apartments and penthouses set over three floors on the corner of Dean Street and Spittal Street, a stone's throw from Marlow's cosmopolitan high street. Set behind a traditional Georgian frontage which complements the local street scape, the contemporary properties range from £540,000 to £890,000.
After Sorbon Estates helped Really Wild Clothing find a home for its first bricks and mortar store in Marlow two years ago, Shanly Homes sought to incorporate the look and feel of the independent brand into the show home's interiors.
Nigel Sawers, sales and marketing director at Shanly Homes (Thames Valley), comments: "The vibrancy and sophistication of Really Wild's collection reflects the individuality of Marlow's own high street, so it made perfect sense for us to bring this into the Windsor House show apartment. With only 11 properties for sale, this exclusive development demanded something a bit different to turn potential buyers' heads."
Shelley Jackson of Shelley Jackson Interiors who put the scheme together adds: "We custom made furniture using the Liberty fabric that has been used in clothing designs. A soft blue paisley print has been used on a dressing table stool with a luxurious velvet edging as well as on cushions and curtain pelmets to accentuate the bay windows."
Really Wild's latest spring/summer collection will also feature throughout the show home, as well as the brand's first range of candles. Located at 105 High Street, Really Wild Clothing offers sharp tailoring with a feminine touch aimed at those looking for the best of town and country fashion.
Sarah di Girolamo, store manager, describes the brand as contemporary British: "Clients love the versatility of our designs - outfits work equally for a trip down to Somerset or a weekend at Soho House. Marlow has a really healthy footfall and we find that nine out of 10 customers who walk in the store, come away with something - the Liberty silk shirts are always the first to go!"
